EXIT 21

Through the neighborhood meetings in February 2019, PennDOT received feedback about access issues due to the proposed removal of Queen Street and the new cul-de-sacs along 11th Avenue, 10th Avenue and Columbia Avenue.  PennDOT met with residents, business owners and representatives of North York Borough in a series of special purpose meetings and a workshop to gather information and ideas to restore or improve access for the community.  The resulting proposal restores Queen Street as a one-way road exiting from US Route 30 eastbound and reconnecting the other avenues.  Through a Borough Council meeting on June 11, the council members voted to approve the proposed refinement.
